What you will be doing as a Financial Controller
A Financial Controller at Mammoet Holding is in charge of the financial administration of the two largest legal entities at the Mammoet head office, being Mammoet Holding B.V. (ultimate holding entity) and Mammoet Global Support B.V.. You will secure the correctness and completeness of the administrations including cross border recharges of head office charges and tax accounting for the Dutch fiscal unity, all in line with the rules and procedures stipulated in the Business Support Framework (BSF) and the Finance Manual. You are also able to provide advice to (senior) management based on your knowledge and understanding of the assigned entities. Moreover you oversee the bigger picture whilst staying in control of the details through checks and balances. When the situation requires so, you have the capacity to act decisively and use your relationship and personal power to convince stakeholders about the way forward. Last but not least you are the expert in sharing and securing in-depth knowledge about the legal entities to the GL Accountant.

To summarize, your main responsibilities are:
- The correctness of the financial administration;
- You are in charge of the planning and forecasting cycle of your company(ies);
- In order to establish this you align with all internal and external stakeholders involved;
- You are responsible for the analysis of the Key Control Indicator Dashboard, and in charge to follow up on improving the outcomes;
- You secure the internal and external procedures by delivering all required BSF documentation.
Who are you?
Our ideal candidate is in possession of a relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (e.g. finance, economics) and has gained at least 3 years of overall accounting/finance experience and proven experience as a financial controller. Your communication skills are on point and you have a strong personality. You enjoy working in a team and in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore you are decisive and not afraid to take the lead. As Mammoet communicates in English, proficiency (verbal and written) is essential.
